Henderson Lands on All-MVC Freshman Team
ST LOUIS – Illinois State soccer standout Eiley Henderson earned All-MVC Freshman Team honors, as announced by the league office on Wednesday.
Henderson led Illinois State with three goals this season, including a pair in MVC play and one in the 2024 MVC Tournament. She tallied seven points on the season (3 goals, 1 assist), which all came against MVC opponents.
Henderson started all but one game for the Redbirds this year, logging over 1,400 minutes on the pitch.
She was the first true freshman in the MVC this season to register a one-goal, one-assist performance, after leading Illinois State to a 3-1 win over Indiana State Oct. 13 with the strong performance. For her efforts, Henderson earned MVC Freshman of the Week Oct. 15.
