We have been hearing from faculty, staff, and students that many are feeling uncertain in our current times. To provide meaningful support the Larry and Barbara Efaw Center for Educator Excellence, the Cecilia J. Lauby Teacher Education Center, and Aspiring Educators Association are collaborating to organize Civic Engagement Day, an opportunity for the COE community to come together and get involved. 
The group will learn how they can contact local representatives as private individuals expressing their position on current education-related bills. Resources for how to connect with representatives, talking points, and information on legislation will be available to support all students, faculty, and staff in attendance.
