- LocationSchroeder Hall Room 204
- DescriptionJoin the ACLU-ISU Chapter for popcorn and beverages at our LGBTQIA+ Film Night in Schroeder Hall Room 204 from 5:00 PM to 6:45 PM!
This program will feature a screening of the documentary "Paris is Burning" by Jennie Livingston, which highlights the drag-ballroom culture in New York City during the 1980s and the Black, Latino, gay, and transgender communities involved in it. Following the film, we'll host a reflection on the importance of protecting queer spaces and highlighting trailblazers in the LGBTQIA+ community in today's current political climate.
Additionally, we will hold our Executive Board elections for the 2025-2026 academic year, so be sure to stop by, grab some popcorn, enjoy the movie, and cast your ballot!
Hope to see you there!
