To provide meaningful support the Larry and Barbara Efaw Center for Educator Excellence, the Cecilia J. Lauby Teacher Education Center, and Aspiring Educators Association are collaborating to organize Civic Engagement Day, an opportunity for the COE community to come together and get involved. The group will learn how they can contact local representatives as private individuals expressing their position on current education-related bills. Resources for how to connect with representatives, talking points, and information on legislation will be available to support all students, faculty, and staff in attendance. The first hour will consist of student panelists from the School of Communication answering questions and sharing their thoughts about AI in the Communication workforce.
