Illinois State University’s annual Civic Engagement Celebration will take place on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 2:30-4 p.m. in the Circus Room of the Bone Student Center.   We have been hearing from faculty, staff, and students that many are feeling uncertain in our current times. To provide meaningful support the Larry and Barbara Efaw Center for Educator Excellence, the Cecilia J. Lauby Teacher Education Center, and Aspiring Educators Association are collaborating to organize Civic Engagement Day, an opportunity for the COE community to come together and get involved.  The group will learn how they can contact local representatives as private individuals expressing their position on current education-related bills.
