Join SERC on Wednesday April 23rd from 11am-2pm to participate in the Clothesline Project. The event will be held near the flag pole on the ISU quad. Shirts made by sexual assault survivors will be hung from clothesline. We invite survivors to create a tee-shirt if they feel comfortable enough.  What is Clothesline Project?  The Clothesline Project is a visual display of violence statistics that often go ignored. Each shirt is made by a survivor of violence or by someone who has lost a loved one to violence. Join the ACLU-ISU Chapter for our panel-based Q&A on Environmental Racism & Climate Change in Schroeder Hall Room 244 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM! This program will focus on exploring the nexus between environmental degradation, structural racism, and climate change that has shaped the lived experiences of communities of color for centuries and continues to do so today. Our discussion will also highlight, among other related topics, how communities and nonprofits are building a path forward through organization and advocacy. The event will consist of a moderated panel discussion and an audience Q&A.
