Results of the 2025 consolidated election
The Consolidated election for McLean County took place today, April 1. Out of the 66,268 voters registered in McLean County, 16,874 cast their ballot in this election, resulting in about a 25.46% voter turnout rate.
The McLean County proposition to impose a countywide school sales tax was passed with 9,041 votes in Bloomington and 8,374 votes from the rest of McLean County.
Normal Mayor
Chris Koos won by 45.85% of the vote.
Bloomington Mayor
Dan Brady won by 48% of the vote.
Trustee Normal
With three positions open, Kevin McCarthy received 36.38% of the vote, Rory Roberge received 30.12% of the vote and Scott Preston received 33.51% of the vote.
Supervisor Normal Township
Krystle Able won with 59.91% of the vote.
Clerk Normal Township
Dayna Schickedanz won with 59.83% of the vote.
Assessor Normal Township
Kent DePew won with 100% of the vote.
Highway Commissioner Normal Township
Arin Rader won with 100% of the vote.
Trustee Normal Township
With four positions open, Tanner Starr received 14.91% of the vote, Natasha Syed received 14.80% of the vote, Dylan Hile-Broad received 14.53% of the vote and Nayoka Griffis received 14.48% of the vote.
Supervisor Bloomington Township
Jennifer Capodice won with 100% of the vote.
Clerk Bloomington Township
Jennifer Vericell won with 100% of the vote.
Assessor Bloomington Township
No candidates ran for office.
Highway Commissioner Bloomington Township
Rodney Boester won with 100% of the vote.
Trustee Bloomington Township
With four positions open, Mark Yontz received 27.88% of the vote, James Thomas received 24.04% of the vote, Chris Witte received 24.46% of the vote and David Mier received 23.62% of the vote.

Jenna L. Kearns won with 56.85% of the vote.
Bloomington Alderperson Ward 3
Sheila Montney won with 100% of the vote.
Bloomington Alderperson Ward 5
Mike Straza won with 100% of the vote.

Mary ‘Mollie’ Ward won with 100% of the vote.

Abby Scott won with 57.99% of the vote.

With four positions open, Charles B. Irwin received 25.09% of the vote, Brigette Gibson received 25.26% of the vote, Cathy Lust received 24.74% of the vote and Elizabeth Fox Anvick received 24.91% of the vote.
McLean County School Board Community Unit School District 5
With three positions open, Patrick Mainieri received 33.74% of the vote, Stan E. Gozur received 31.92% of the vote and Kentrica Coleman received 34.34% of the vote.
Heartland Community College 540
With three positions open, Laurie Bergner won with 28.97% of the vote, Janet Hood won with 28.65% of the vote and Thomas Whitt won with 21.26% of the vote.
Regional Board of Education
Write-in candidates consisted of 100% of the vote.
Regional Board of Education Unexpired
No candidates ran for office.
Normal Public Library Trustee
With three positions open, Erin Ripley-Gateric received 4960 votes and Katelyn Trunnell received 5830 votes.
