- Redbird Bats Explode In 15-5 Run-Rule Win In Series Finale At DrakeAfter being held to one run in each of the first two games of the series at Drake, the Illinois State offense exploded for a season-high 15 runs on a season-best 18 hits on Sunday as the Redbirds (12-25, 6-7 MVC) won the series finale over the Bulldogs (13-21, 5-7 MVC) at Ron Buel Field by a score of 15-5 in five innings.
- Late Comeback Falls Short For Redbirds Against Drake In 2-1 DefeatThe second game of the weekend series between Illinois State and Drake was a close one, as the Redbirds trailed by just one for most of the game. However, Drake (13-20, 5-6 MVC) added an insurance in the bottom of the sixth inning which would prove to be the winning run as the Redbirds (11-25, 5-7 MVC) were able to score a run in the seventh but it was not enough in a 2-1 defeat to the Bulldogs on Saturday at Ron Buel Field.
- Redbirds Drop Series Opener At Drake, 4-1It was a chilly night in Des Moines for the series opener between Illinois State and Drake, which was delayed an hour due to rain in the area earlier in the day. Unfortunately for the Redbirds (11-24, 5-6 MVC), the Bulldogs (12-20, 4-6 MVC) scored in three-straight innings to pick up a 4-1 win over the Redbirds at Ron Buel Field.

- Meshnick Shuts Out Bradley, 1-0, To Give Birds Fourth-Straight WinIt was a cold and blustery day on Tuesday in Peoria, as Illinois State and Bradley played the second of three games in the midweek I-74 rivalry series at OSF Healthcare Field at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex. However, those conditions didn't seem to bother ISU starter Hannah Meshnick one bit, as she pitched a complete-game two-hit shutout to lift the Redbirds (11-23, 5-5 MVC) to a 1-0 victory over the Braves (16-19, 6-5 MVC).
- Redbirds Return To Peoria For Second Game of Midweek SeriesA week after traveling west on I-74 to take on Bradley, the Illinois State softball team will hit the road once again on Tuesday and head to Peoria to take on the Braves in the second of three midweek games that will make up the 2025 travel partner series between the two squads.
