On a rain-soaked opening day of the Mary Fossum Invitational, the Illinois State women's golf team made a late-round push to climb into eighth place in the rain-shortened first round at the event.

Illinois State soccer opened Missouri Valley Conference play with a 1-0 shutout victory over Murray State on Sunday afternoon at Cutchin Field. The win marks the Redbirds' first 1-0 start to conference play since the 2020-21 season and extends Illinois State's current unbeaten streak to five matches.
