    Illinois State University is pleased to host the Coalition for Transforming Higher Education as they educate campus about their work in transforming higher education funding in Illinois!Learn about the Adequate and Equitable Funding Formula on April 14 from 12 – 2 p.m. in the Bone Student Center, Brown Ballroom for lunch and an in-depth conversation about SB13/HB1581, which has the potential to reshape higher education in Illinois and empower universities to drive greater opportunity for students and communities.Learn about the bill’s significance for Illinois, students, and the state economy from expert researchers and panelists. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with fellow higher education advocates about the bill and higher education funding in our state.Led by Senate Majority Leader Kimberly A. Lightford and State Representative Carol Ammons, SB 13/HB1581 is Illinois’ best chance at creating a higher education system that serves the needs of all students and public institutions across the state. Learn more about the bill and how you can help join the conversation on this important legislative proposal for our state’s future.
