The Illinois State University Recreation and Park Administration’s inaugural graduating Class of 1974 is excited to celebrate the program’s 50th anniversary with an alumni reunion on the campus September 24-26, inviting all program alumni from 1973-1976.



Tuesday, September 247 p.m., informal dinner with location to be determined. Final details will be sent in confirmation email. Responsible for own cost.Wednesday, September 2511 a.m., lunch with Parks and Recreation Society student officers at McCormick Hall12:30-2 p.m., annual RPA student and alumni meet and greet on the Quad: A time to network with current students and share career advice2:30 p.m., ISU campus tour6 p.m., 50th anniversary meal at our private residence: Cost to attend is $35 and includes appetizers, catered meal and dessert.Thursday, September 269-11 a.m., nostalgic driving tour: Visit places of fond memories including Lake Evergreen, Miller Park, Funks Grove, and more11:30 a.m., lunch with KNR faculty at McCormick Hall: Receive an update on the program and hear from Dr. Dale Cruse, creator of the RPA department, via Zoom Cost is $15.1-5 p.m., social time at private residence: Relax and enjoy board games, foosball, hot tub and sharing of memories to be included in school communications.6 p.m., informal dinner with location to be determined and return to private residence for games and social time. Responsible for own cost.
