Dr. Kahyun Choi who will give a talk on, “Responsible AI for Poetry Analysis: Toward Equitable and Diverse Digital Libraries.” Dr. Choi is an Assistant Professor of Library and Information Science at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. This is an in-person event, held in the Southwest Corner of Milner’s 6th floor, at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 27. Dr. Choi will present on her current project, developing an AI model to understand and organize poetry collections. This curated tool will make it easier for users to discover poetry from underrepresented populations and include the ability to search for poetry using more sophisticated categories, like theme or emotion. Learn about how to find your content test, where to register, and where to find information for how to study for your content test, including how to access practice tests when they are available for your content area. This series will teach participants how to employ strategies for studying and taking their content test. Each workshop builds upon the next, but students are welcome to join at any date.
