Lessons Learned From Freedom of Speech Concerns on Campus

    Join the ACLU-ISU Chapter and the ACLU of Central IL for an examination of Freedom of Speech Concerns on Campus in Prairie Rooms II & III on the second floor of the Bone Student Center from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM!
    This event will focus on how we can encourage and protect free expression on campus while guaranteeing safety among other topics. The event will be comprised of a panelist discussion and audience question & answer period. The panelists featured will include Raseel Khwaiss, ISU Student Activist and Double Major in Political Science and Philosophy; Professor Joseph Zompetti, ISU Professor of Communications; and Ed Yohnka, Director of Communications and Public Policy at the ACLU of Illinois. 
    This event is a part of the Department of Politics and Government's Democracy in Focus: The 2024 Election Series and will also feature Voter Registration Table from the Center for Civic Engagement. This is an event you don't want to miss, and we cannot wait to see you there!
