Join the ACLU-ISU Chapter and the ACLU of Central IL for an examination of Freedom of Speech Concerns on Campus in Prairie Rooms II & III on the second floor of the Bone Student Center from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM! This event will focus on how we can encourage and protect free expression on campus while guaranteeing safety among other topics. The event will be comprised of a panelist discussion and audience question & answer period. The panelists featured will include Raseel Khwaiss, ISU Student Activist and Double Major in Political Science and Philosophy; Professor Joseph Zompetti, ISU Professor of Communications; and Ed Yohnka, Director of Communications and Public Policy at the ACLU of Illinois.  This event is a part of the Department of Politics and Government's Democracy in Focus: The 2024 Election Series and will also feature Voter Registration Table from the Center for Civic Engagement.
