Get great tips from actual employers that will help you prepare for and be confident when participating in the fall career fairs. Employer representatives will be from a variety of industries and will discuss the following topics:Preparation – Learn the basics for how to: dress for a career fair and/or interview, create a great first impression, research employers, and follow up after a fair. Practice – Create a 30 second elevator speech to use at a career fair or to answer the question: “tell me about yourself.” Pitch – Practice your handshake and pitch (elevator speech) to employers.Expect to spend 35-40 minutes in this program. Make visual aids with us in Milner Library! We will be creating visual aids that students can use for their music therapy practicum work. If you don't need any for your population, donate some to the instrument closet. AMTA-s is for all students who are interest in music therapy and want to be more involved in the program.
