Conversation hours are a place where people interested in Italian language or culture gather! During this time we hang out, play games, learn about Italian culture and eat cookies! We prioritize speaking in Italian to practice our language skills, but no worries if you don't know any Italian! This is a great place to start learning, no strings attached. We always have an Italian language professor and La Tavola Executive Board members present to facilitate activities and conversation, answer questions, and provide language clarification. If you have grammar or any other type of language questions and clarifications this is the perfect place to ask. We are open to students and faculty of all interests and levels! We meet every Tuesday at 2-3 pm and Wednesdays at 12-1 pm in the Language Commons Room 227B in Stevenson Hall on campus. This workshop series will cover a variety of topics related to managing your academic stress such as self-care, coping, mindfulness and what university resources are available to you. In this workshop we will talk about different academic stressors that students may experience, the difference between positive and negative coping skills, and how we can put this into action.
