The Conversations Café is a casual 1-hour social hosted monthly by OIE for both international and domestic students that simulates a relaxing coffee shop atmosphere. Come practice your English language skills, build new friendships, and enjoy stress-relieving activities. Check out our new craft table! All students are welcome to join the conversation, play board games, enjoy hands-on crafts and experience the Café. - Apr 2512:30 PMSpring Into Service: Salvation Army Clean UpMake a difference as we help clean and organize the Salvation Army’s pod! Join the Center for Civic Engagement for a rewarding service project that directly supports our local community. To attend, RSVP yes to this event on Redbird Life. Spots are limited to 15 volunteers, so if you registered but are no longer able to attend, please change your RSVP for this event to "no." We will meet at the Center for Civic Engagement at 12:30 PM for a pre-reflection on the importance of community service and its impact. Afterward, we will head over to the Salvation Army to get to work organizing and cleaning their pod. The service will take place from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and after wrapping up, we’ll gather for a post-reflection to share our experiences. Transportation will be provided for those who need it. Please show your Redbird spirit by wearing any ISU gear or a red shirt to help keep us unified as a group! About the Salvation Army: The Salvation Army provides essential services to individuals and families in need, including food, shelter, and emergency assistance.
