Navigating Career Fairs

    Get great tips from actual employers that will help you prepare for and be confident when participating in the fall career fairs. Employer representatives will be from a variety of industries and will discuss the following topics:

    Preparation – Learn the basics for how to: dress for a career fair and/or interview, create a great first impression, research employers, and follow up after a fair.
    Practice – Create a 30 second elevator speech to use at a career fair or to answer the question: “tell me about yourself.”
    Pitch – Practice your handshake and pitch (elevator speech) to employers.

    Expect to spend 35-40 minutes in this program.
