The event will feature live drumming on Senegambian jenbe and different drums from Ghana, the Burkina Faso dzil xylophone, dancing, singing, and storytelling around the MuKa, the family clay stove. This is a celebration and deep engagement with Mama Africa’s rich intellectual traditions. We will learn about Mama Africa's lessons about mercy, responsibility, respect, community, love, kindness, and creativity.
