The session will begin with a talk by Paige Buschman, Associate Director Center for Civic Engagement. This group presentation will be followed by three rotating workshops. Participants will have the opportunity to attend three different sessions of their choice in small breakout rooms/tables. Presenters are experts in the areas of democracy and public education, critical media literacies, civic engagement, the structures and policies informing public education, and more. Can I get clinical hours? Ask your professor! If you are an education student, your professor might be open to allowing you to count attendance toward clinical hours.
