Redbird Duo Secure Midwest All-Region Honors
NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State baseball's Daniel Pacella and Judah Morris have been named Midwest All-Region Second-Team by ABCA/Rawlings, announced on Tuesday.
The duo are the Redbirds' first All-Region honorees since Ryan Cermak in 2022.
Pacella, from Mundelein, Illinois is one of three Redbirds that started every game this season, playing all 56 games in left field. En route to being named All-MVC First Team in 2025, Pacella slashed .355/.714/.429 with 19 doubles, two triples, 20 home runs, 59 RBIs, and 58 runs scored. Pacella was named to the 2025 MVC Scholar-Athlete First Team along with being tabbed with CSC Academic All District honors.
Morris, a Mather, California, native is one of three Redbirds (Pacella, Morris, Kyle Gibson) that started every game in 2025, playing first base for the Birds. In 2025, Morris hit .298/.667/.466 with 16 doubles, 19 home runs, driving in 50 runs, and scoring 56 times. The senior was named Second Team All-Conference and received CSC Academic All District honors.
