Illinois State Volleyball Announces Four for 2025 Incoming Class
NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State volleyball program has announced its 2025 recruiting class and will add four incoming freshmen to the roster for the 2025-26 academic year.
The 2025 recruiting class includes libero Devynn Schulze (Wonder Lake, Ill./Woodstock North HS), setter Ella Craggs (Northville, Mich./Northville HS), middle blocker Ne'Khaela Rogers (Burleson, Texas/Centennial HS), and outside hitter Hadley Rogge (Crystal Lake, Ill./Marian Central Catholic HS).
"We are so incredibly excited to welcome this class of 2025 signees. This group of young women understand the legacy of Illinois State volleyball and are determined to impact the success of our program," said head coach Allie Matters.

"Devynn is a skilled defender and a consistent passer. She is a fierce competitor that brings so much joy and passion to the game. She has an unbelievable ability to positively affect those around her. Her recruitment brought an extra sense of Redbird pride, as both of her parents are Illinois State alumni! We expect her to impact us immediately in a position that requires grit, hard work, and above all relentless energy. Dev is no stranger to big moments and will thrive defensively in the Missouri Valley. We know she is going to make our Redbird family proud!"
Schulze on choosing Illinois State:
"I chose Illinois State because the players and coaching staff are the greatest people ever. They are open and honest about their experiences, which allowed me to really see myself here in the future. As soon as I stepped foot on campus it was a no brainer. The campus atmosphere is also very welcoming and vibrant, which made me fall in love with ISU even more."

"Ella is an extremely talented setter who will be asked to do a lot for our program upon arrival and we have all the confidence in her ability to do so. She is a steadfast, consistent, and competitive young athlete. Ella has an impressive skill set and volleyball IQ, and her confidence has continued to grow. Her ability to consistently connect with attackers seems effortless. She has competed at a very high level in both club and high school, so we expect her to fit seamlessly in our system. We are eager for Ella's debut in the Redbird uniform!"
Craggs on choosing Illinois State:
"I chose ISU because the coaching staff is so passionate and built a culture I instantly wanted to be a part of. I felt like I belonged from the first time I stepped on campus."
