Redbirds Prevail in Pitcher’s Duel Against Valparaiso
VALPARAISO, Ind. - Pitching on both sides was the story as Illinois State picked up a 2-1 victory over Valparaiso on Friday at Emory G. Bauer Field.
Senior Tresdon Rybarczyk fired two innings in relief without allowing an earned run for the Redbirds (13-15 overall, 5-2 MVC).
Senior Judah Morris had a home run and an RBI as the Birds mustered seven hits against the Beacons (7-18 overall, 2-5 MVC).
