SERIES HISTORY
Indiana State leads in the all-time series, dating back to 1948, holding an 122-92 margin.

The last meeting between Illinois State and Indiana State in the MVC Tournament came during the 2021 MVC Tournament as the Sycamores claimed a 5-2 win in Carbondale over the Redbirds.

The two programs met in Terre Haute last weekend, as the Redbirds took two of three to secure their first road series win over the Sycamores since 2018.

Game one (Thursday) saw the Redbirds tally five home runs en route to an 11-4 win. After dropping a 17-3 result on Friday, ILS stormed back on Saturday to score 12 runs on 15 hits for a series clinching 12-1 win in seven innings.

SCOUTING THE SYCAMORES
Indiana State is 24-30 overall in 2025, including 12-15 in MVC play, to return to the MVC Baseball Championships for the 15th consecutive season after claiming the No. 8 seed overall in the postseason.

The Sycamores in the No. 8 spot marked the lowest seed by an Indiana State team in the Valley tournament since the field was expected to at least eight teams in the 2010 season.
