Birds Fall 5-2 in Nashville to Lipscomb
NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- The Illinois State men's tennis team (4-12) fell to Lipscomb University (5-5) of the ASUN conference by a score of 5-2 inside Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center in Nashville.
The Bison claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3. In singles play, the Birds battled for two victories at No. 1 and No. 3. At No. 1 Adrian Dibildox played to a three-set win against Szymczak of Lipscomb University by scores of 4-6, 6-1, 6-4. Christian Capacci won in a three set tie-breaker against the Bison's Lombisano, 6-7, 6-3, 7-6 (8).
