Targeted search announced for vice president for academic affairs and provost position
President Aondover Tarhule has announced a targeted search for the role of vice president for academic affairs and provost. Dr. Ani Yazedjian is the nominee. She has held the title of acting provost since February 17, 2023. Pursuant to Policy 3.2.13, Section F and in the interest of shared governance, inclusion, and diversity, Yazedjian will host a Campus Open Forum on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 11 a.m., in the Old Main Room, Bone Student Center.
“The University has many critical projects that require continuity and familiarity in order to move them forward,” said Tarhule. “In addition, the role requires close alignment with the president’s vision. Dr. Yazedjian knows and has shown continued commitment to the strategic priorities we have embarked upon.”
