Retirement reception for Florence Buchanon to be held December 13
Florence Buchanon is retiring from Illinois State University after 31 years of service. A retirement reception will be held from 2-3:30 p.m. on Friday, December 13 in the Circus Room inside the Bone Student Center. Members of the campus community are invited to attend.
Buchanon began her career at ISU in 1993 in Facilities Management and in 1995 began working in the Financial Aid Office. She has continued to work in the Financial Aid Office and is currently the loan processor. She has also served as the staff sponsor for the ISU Student Chapter of the NAACP and Noir Dance Troupe on campus.
Please join the Financial Aid Office in showing appreciation for all that Buchanon has contributed to Illinois State University and to wish her well in retirement.
