Another academic year has come to a close, but the Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts is gearing up for the summer season. Visit one of our art exhibitions or join us for an annual favorite such as the Concerts on the Quad and the Illinois Shakespeare Festival.

Concerts on the Quad
Concerts on the Quad returns this summer. Concerts are held at 7 p.m. on Mondays in July, are free and open to the public, and take place on the east side of Cook Hall (the castle) on the Illinois State University Quad.

Illinois Shakespeare Festival
The nationally renowned Illinois Shakespeare Festival (ISF) announced its 2025 repertory season with three artistic offerings including two Shakespeare plays and an Oscar Wilde classic. All plays will run in repertory, June 25 through August 2, 2025. Tickets are on sale now.
Patrons can anticipate other beloved staples of the Illinois Shakespeare Festival experience, including the 2025 Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) production: Who’s There?!? by Nancy Steele Brokaw, Summer Camps for Youth, and the end-of-season Bard Bash and Cabaret on Sunday, August 3. New this year is a Spring Meet and Greet with the 2025 acting company and Artistic Director Robert Quinlan.
