Letisha Trepac named director of University Budget Office
Illinois State University Associate Vice President for Budget and Planning, Amanda Hendrix, has named Letisha Trepac the director of the University Budget Office, effective May 6, 2025.
In this role Trepac will be responsible for overseeing university budget processes and procedures, leading budget training and communications with campus fiscal partners, and managing compliance reporting to state governing bodies.
“I am thrilled that Letisha is joining our budget team at Illinois State,” said Hendrix. “Her wealth of experience in college budgeting and financial planning will be instrumental as we implement new and strategic budgeting processes. I look forward to working together during this pivotal time at Illinois State. I would also like to thank Janis Langdon for her tireless work and dedication serving as acting director over the last year.”
Trepac brings nearly 25 years of experience in higher education fiscal roles. Prior to joining the Town of Normal as assistant finance director, Trepac served as vice president for Finance & Administration at Heartland Community College, where she was also chief financial officer and treasurer of the College and Foundation Boards. Prior to joining HCC, Trepac held various fiscal leadership roles at Western Illinois University.

Trepac holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Western Illinois University.
