Earth Day Breakfast tickets on sale through April 11
Tickets are on sale for the annual Earth Day Breakfast on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 8-10 a.m., in the Brown Ballroom, Bone Student Center.
Check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m. Parking is available at the Bone Student Center parking lot.
The Earth Day Breakfast will include a sustainable selection of local foods, vegan options, Fair Trade coffee and teas, and feature keynote speaker Zahra Biabani.
Author and climate activist Zahra Biabani, is a powerful voice for positive change. Her book, Climate Optimism: Celebrating Systemic Change Around the World, celebrates encouraging environmental trends and showcases communities pioneering unique solutions to the climate crisis. By focusing on progress, Biabani reminds us that optimism can fuel action and inspire us to keep pushing for a more sustainable future. This timely conversation will inspire and uplift during challenging times.
This Zero Waste breakfast is open to both campus and community members. Tickets are $10 for students with valid student IDs and $25 for faculty, staff, and the general public.
The Earth Day Breakfast is co-sponsored by the College of Business; the Department of Health Sciences; the Department of Geography, Geology, and the Environment; and Leadership, Education, and Development (LEAD).
Ticket sales end on Friday, April 11, or until sold out.
