The goal is to have as many representatives of Illinois State as possible file a witness slip in support of Senate Bill 13 (Public Higher Education Equitable Funding Formula legislation) by Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
Illinois State is publicly supporting the newly proposed Public Higher Education Equitable Funding Formula legislation – Senate Bill 13 (SB 13).
This bill is scheduled to be heard in a subject matter hearing in the Senate Executive Committee on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 3 p.m. SB 13, and its replica in the House of Representatives – House Bill 1581 (HB1581), would revolutionize how public higher education institutions are funded through the state and significantly increase state allocated operational funding for Illinois State.
