ISU Board of Trustees to propose increase in room and board fees

The Illinois State University Board of Trustees will hold its quarterly meeting at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, in the Old Main Room of the Bone Student Center. The Board will review a new resolution to increase student fees for room and board by 5%.The change would take effect in the 2025-26 academic year. Meeting materials of the board suggest that increased minimum wage and other raised costs are what prompted the proposed increase. This increase will apply to all on-campus residence halls, including Cardinal Court apartments. Tuition fees will remain unchanged. Other meeting materials can be found online.
