The No. 4 seeded Illinois State men's tennis team (7-17, 2-4 SUMMIT) dropped a 5-0 heart breaker against the No. 1 seeded Denver Pioneers (17-6, 6-0 SUMMIT) at Denver Tennis Park in the Summit League Semifinal.

Illinois State junior Tin Ostro (Zagreb, Croatia) was selected as the Summit League Men's Tennis Scholar of the Championships (presented by JLG Architects) by the league office on Friday.

A pair of Illinois State men's tennis standouts were named 2025 All-Summit League selections on Thursday, before this weekend's 2025 Summit League Tennis Championships set to be held in Denver, Colorado. Junior Tomas Valencia (Santiago, Chile) was awarded All-Summit League First team honors, while fellow junior Adrian Dibildox (Monterrey, Mexico) was tabbed with All-Summit League Honorable Mention accolades.

Illinois State men's tennis (7-16, 2-3 SUMMIT) advanced to the Summit League Championships where the Redbirds received the No. 4 seed and will take on host No. 1 Denver University (16-6, 5-0 SUMMIT) in the second semifinal match on Friday, April 18 inside Denver Tennis Park.
