Three-time Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golf Coach of the Year Breanne Hall has announced her resignation to take the same position at the University of Nebraska. ISU will begin an immediate nationwide search for a new head coach.

The Illinois State women's golf team put a bow on its wildly successful 2024-25 season on Wednesday afternoon, where the Birds closed out play at the 2025 NCAA Regional.

Illinois State graduate student Jinyoung Yun, the MVC Women's Golfer of the Year, added another accolade to her growing list as she was named the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year, announced by the MVC office on Wednesday afternoon, while Morgan Jones and Lory Paradis were each named to the All-Academic First Team.

With a steady rain throughout, increasing to a steady downpour at times, the Illinois State women's golf team battled the conditions, the course, and the 12 other schools in the tournament field on Tuesday afternoon, as the Redbirds kept their position heading into the final day of the tournament.
