Redbird Gymnastics Ranks In Top 20 Team GPAs In The Country
The Illinois State gymnastics program finished in the top 20 in the country in team cumulative grade point average, as the Redbirds came in at No. 17 with a 3.7524 GPA for the 2024-25 academic year based on data submitted to the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA). In addition, 19 current and former Redbird student-athletes were recognized as Scholastic All-America team members, which accounted for 90 percent of the team recognized.
Redbird Gymnastics Adds Three Standouts To 2025-26 Roster
Illinois State gymnastics head coach Cassandra Ringer has announced the signing of three gymnasts to her program, with the additions of Courtney Woods (Ozark, Missouri), Kamryn Banach (Channahon, Illinois) and Mia Foy (Sun Prairie, Wisconsin) to the 2025-26 roster.

Illinois State gymnastics head coach Cassandra Ringer has completed her inaugural coaching staff with the program, following the announcement of the retention of assistant coach Kendra Combs and the hiring of new assistant coach Adeline Kenlin on Tuesday.
Cassandra Ringer Named New Redbird Gymnastics Head Coach
The Illinois State gymnastics program has found its new head coach, as Illinois State Director of Athletics Dr. Jeri Beggs has announced the hiring of former Ball State assistant coach Cassandra Ringer as the team's mentor. Ringer replaces Bob Conkling, who retired after the 2025 season following 20 years at the helm of the program.
