The Normal Police Department is launching new cruisers as part of a 10-year, $8 million upgrade with Axon Technologies. The plan includes modernizing the department’s equipment and digital tools to improve efficiency and safety. October is breast cancer awareness month. Illinois State University’s Zeta Tau Alpha sorority are raiding money on the quad for cancer research. The sorority’s philanthropy is breast cancer education and awareness. All proceeds from their fundraising go to The NFL Breast Cancer Research Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
