October is breast cancer awareness month. Illinois State University’s Zeta Tau Alpha sorority are raiding money on the quad for cancer research. The sorority’s philanthropy is breast cancer education and awareness. All proceeds from their fundraising go to The NFL Breast Cancer Research Foundation and the American Cancer Society.  

Visit the Dean of Students office for financial guidance and the School Street Food Pantry which is open from 4-6 p.m. every Friday. If you know someone in need of assistance, the recourses above can help.  

Monday, October 20th Normal Town Council members, along with Normal Fire Chief gathered with students to give these students a chance to meet and ask questions to their local government.
