From the late 1970s through the late 1990s, Garcia’s Pizza in a Pan was an integral part of the college experience for thousands of Illinois State University students. Co-owner Ralph Senn still operates one location in Champaign where, in this 2024 interview, he reflects on Garcia’s origins and its impact on the Illinois State community.
