The Illinois State Track & Field/Cross Country program has set a $15,000 goal for the 2024 Support Your Sport campaign. The team plans to use the funds raised throughout the week to celebrate the program’s success.Plans include updating the trophy case inside Horton Field House as well as upgrading the main entrance to Horton Field House to show and display championships and records.

The Illinois State Volleyball program is focusing on a variety of program enhancements during the 2024 Support Your Sport campaign. Funds raised throughout the campaign will go towards health and nutrition, gear, apparel, and equipment.In particular, Coach Allie Matters is looking for help enhancing the current scouting technology in order to prepare the team in the most effective and efficient way.

Dollars provided to the Redbird Women’s Basketball program during the Support Your Sport Campaign will go towards program needs such as health and nutrition items, new equipment, and apparel for all the student-athletes. Part of the funds raised will also help cover team travel, specifically to multi-team events which help boost net rankings and provide competitive opportunities early in the season.

The Illinois State Women’s Golf program has identified the travel budget as their focus for the 2024 Support Your Sport campaign.With the team’s success over the last few years, they have started to receive invitations to larger tournaments across the country. With these invitations comes additional costs such as higher entry fees and travel costs.

The Redbird Women’s Tennis program is fundraising for enhancements to their indoor facility at the Evergreen Racquet Club. Upgrades include new branding around the playing surfaces, spectator areas, and locker room. In addition to the Evergreen Raquet Club enhancements, the program is looking to update player DISC profiles and attend the ATP Indian Wells event in March. These improvements are essential to the recruiting and retention of elite student-athletes which directly translates to success on the courts.

The Redbird Gymnastics program is focusing on fundraising for new team travel gear as well as gymnastics equipment for the upcoming season. Equipment needs include new spotting blocks and panel mats to assist with training and practice. These enhancements will boost recruiting efforts as well as provide a safe space for our gymnasts to compete and train at the highest level.Thank you for your support of Redbird Gymnastics!

The Illinois State Softball team has identified two areas of focus for this year’s Support Your Sport campaign. The first focus is to finalize their locker room renovation project. The second focus is on a foreign competition trip.The completion of the locker room renovation project will enhance recruiting efforts and provide a space for current athletes to enjoy. The foreign trip will provide a cultural and educational experience for Softball student-athletes while competing against high level Division 1 programs. The ISU Baseball team is fundraising for “The Pitching Lab”. The addition of the Paul DeJong Training Facility has been vital for the growth and development of the Baseball student-athletes. They are able to use the facility for both hitters and pitchers.The program will focus on outfitting the training facility with the latest technology to help pitchers receive real-time feedback in training sessions. The addition of cameras and data collectors would elevate the training facility to another level and help the student-athletes take the next step in their development.Thank you for your support of Redbird Baseball!
